Dillon did such a good job with unclogging my drain. He arrived right on time and got immediately to work. He's a great guy to fix what needs to be fixed and I will ask for him the next time that drain clogs up!
Thoroughly impressed, I was able to have a plumber come out within an hour to fix a frozen pipe. Quick, easy fix. He also suggested actions I can take to prevent it from happening again. Service was a bit on the expensive side, but I'm glad to have it done.

We had a stopped kitchen drain that came on suddenly as family dinner was being prepared. I tried plunging the blockage, but got nowhere. Using Atherton's convenient online service request form to schedule an appointment, and had a plumber here at 8 AM the next morning! Ryan was efficient, pleasant, and informative as he got to work. He was able to feed a snake through the sink drain and clear the clog, which was found about 10 feet down the pipe. He cleared the line for about 40 ft to make sure the clog was gone. He cleaned up the sink area and was gone in about 45 minutes start to finish. And the work is warranted for 90 days. We're VERY happy with the work from Atherton Plumbing.
Ryan did a great job opening our drain today. He was incredibly patient and had a fantastic attitude. He is also very knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. Highly recommend! We had a hot water pipe leak under our foundation and Jason explained all of the scenarios to us very clearly to let us know how our repair would proceed since it was a bit tricky. We called Atherton Plumbing this morning and they had a technician out to our house within 45 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and worked with us to find the best solution to our current problem, as well as provide estimates for work we are considering for the future. I will call Atherton again and again if we need plumbing work done.

Ryan and Atherton were awesome! The kitchen sink backed up around 6:30 the evening of 23 Dec. we had a houseful coming over for Christmas and the having no kitchen sink, disposal, or dishwasher was not part of the plan. I tried to clear it myself but no luck. Called several area plumbers and Friday was the first available for most. I finally found one that could do 12-5 on Christmas Eve and booked it. At 1:00 Christmas Eve that one called to reschedule for Friday due to an emergency job! Could not talk them into working something out. My wife told me to call Atherton because she had heard how good they were. So 1:30 Christmas Eve they booked me for a 12-4 slot! No trip charge, no premium time, just sending Ryan out. Got there around 4:00, cleaned the drain, and done. He was very personable and professional. Had a nice friendly chat and he squared us away. Price was very reasonable. Atherton will be at the top of my list next time around!

Came out quickly for a backed up drain and sink on Christmas eve. They were very nice and courteous.
I called Atherton Plumbing randomly because my water heater’s pilot light went out and I couldn’t get it to fire back up. Initially, I spoke with Susan (I believe that was her name) who was pleasant and helpful getting emergency service set up for me. Within an hour, Jerry arrived at my home and quickly resolved the issue (as it turns out, I wasn’t doing the process correctly to get the pilot fired back up). He was very amiable and explained everything that he was doing as he did it, which I really appreciated. He additionally did a walk-through to check the shutoff valves in my house and provided me with estimates to upgrade the valves that will eventually need to be replaced. He also provided me with other quotes for other potential repairs for the future. I am not someone easily impressed, but I was definitely impressed with the level of customer service and the friendliness of Susan and Jerry. When the need arises, I will definitely reach out to Atherton again in the future!
Atherton Plumbing came through for me at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning—just five days before Christmas. Jerry inspected our sump pump and quickly identified that the switch had gone bad after 8 years on a very active system. He replaced it efficiently and was extremely thorough with the installation. I especially appreciated that Jerry wore foot covers when entering our home—such a thoughtful and professional touch. He was amazing, very gracious, and pleasant to work with, even that early on a weekend. I highly recommend Jerry for any plumbing work in your home!

Quality service performed by friendly, professional, and knowledgeable employees. They replaced our water softener unit, installed a whole-house filter, and fixed some leaky pipes. They were my grandparents plumbing service for years before I bought their home after they had passed and now I am staying with A- Atherton! Andrew and Luke ( from A-Atherton came out in 2020 and did an excellent job putting in a brand new water heater they were fast but efficient and even took the time to explain things to me. The following day after they had installed it I accidentally blew the pilot light out somehow they came right out and turned it back on for me! I am a customer for life Thank You A-Atherton Plumbing!

We have a finished basement with an ejector pump. We came home from work the other evening to find it not working and leaking all over the floor. Yuck! I was able to make an appointment for the next morning through the website. The technician arrived promptly, explained the problem, and quickly fixed it. He efficiently did in a couple hours what took two men 2 days to do last time this happened! He left the area cleaner than he found it and the price was reasonable. Atherton was called due to a leaky outdoor spigot when the temps were below freezing. Jason, the tech, arrived promptly the same day, and efficiently and effectively replaced the spigot. He was very professional and courteous, explaining the how and what was to be done to rectify the leak. Great job, Jason!
