I have always been pleased when using Atherton. Today Ben came out to fix a pipe that had burst. He was professional explained everything in detail and it was not only a job well done but he was a pleasure having him be the one in my home. In the past I tried supporting the Independents, those working on their own and it was always wasted money. I trust Atherton and support them 100%.
They came out the same day I called and Lucas was super nice and very professional. Pricing was reasonable and I’d definitely recommend the to friends.
My main drain wasn't draining and I needed to have it cleared right away. I called Atherton Plumbing and the plumber came out that afternoon. The plumber was professional and did the job with everything now draining properly. I have no problem with the service I received. I do think they are incredibly expensive. The service call was $40 to come out and assess the problem, I have no problem with that. When speaking to the office person she said no estimate could be given over the phone, the plumber would have to see the problem first. The charge to clear my main drain was $577. Tree roots where the problem. I personally think that is about $200 to much. I am not a plumber nor could I do this myself so I paid it. As I said they did a good job getting my drain to clear but the price is too expensive. I doubt I will call them again for service because of the price.
Atherton did a great job. I was able to schedule online the night before and Macen showed up promptly as scheduled the next morning and did the job. No complaints

Needed revised plumbing to install new dishwasher. Atherton was able to send out a plumber quickly. Lucas French did excellent work on the revision. He had explained throughly what was needed and the cost. Appreciated the Health and Safety assesment that was done. Have used Atherton many times and will continue to call them for plumbing needs

Macen Jackson is AWESOME. He is so conscientious and through in his work. Atherton sent. him to my home in less than an hour after I called in to request someone look at my sump pump. I would highly recommend Atherton and Macen Jackson for any plumbing work that is needed.
The folks who did a previous attempt at drain cleaning weren't able to get all the way to the street, but Ryan from Atherton was, and he showed the whole video, then cleaned all the roots out. He recommended a treatment schedule, and outlined all the options. This was a terrific experience, perhaps not the cheapest, but clearly they got the job done. We are repeat customers now.
Our experience with Atherton has been world class. Called in on Easter – within minutes, I received a call back from the technician, Jerry, who communicated clearly and concisely the expectations of cost and his ETA. While here, he took the time to diagnose the issues we were having, and also pointed out his discovery of our water softener acting up. He went above and beyond to do a proper install of a new water heater. Highly recommend.

Macen from Atherton Plumbing did an excellent job repairing a broken water pipe in a wall. Excellent communication throughout the visit, he didn't rush and his cost estimate was reasonable.
Our shower in the basement was draining slowly. tried to fix it ourselves but we were unsuccessful. Called Atherton and they were able to come right out. Seems the problem went out to the foundation. Problem solved. Thank you

The plumber was very nice and pleasant. He kept me up to date on what he was doing, which was important. He got the job done in the amount of time he said he would. The price did seem a bit high for me.
Andrew Strausbaugh did a great job installing our new water heater. He double checked all connections to make sure that everything was perfect. He carefully explained the operation of the unit. Atherton handled our project professionally and at a very competitive price.
It has been difficult for me to find a commercial plumber in the Dayton area. I tried Atherton out and was impressed with the service. Their cost was half that of RR and they actually solved the problem. Professional crew with fair prices.
Macen from Atherton came out to my house for a clogged toilet. It was actually working from something I had done overnight by the time Macen got here. But Macen was so professional, knowledgeable, friendly , and informative . He provided great advice! If he is a representative of your company , you are doing good! Leaving five stars for technician Ryan who was quick to arrive on sunday, did a great job and explained the service well including showing me the intruding tree roots with camera. To Atherton ... once the $250 weekend fee was added in, I basically paid $400/hr ... Yikes.

I could not have asked for better service or better price. I had an issue with a leaking toilet, and they made sure I knew all the options up front, and when they hammered the tile they clearly explained my options, even though some options meant less work for them. I will be using atheron for all my plumbing work in the future.

The technician was very knowledgeable and quickly determine the issue was not in the plumbing. He took pictures of the area and recommended that we contact a foundation contractor for more evaluation.
