Plumber (Luke) was able to use parts (“J” bend/joint & pop up drain) I purchased 3 days ago to stop leaks. Labor time was about 40 minutes.
Atherton plumbers, Dillon and Tony, came out today to hook up my new washing machine today. They were courteous, tidy, and fast. They hooked up my machine when the appliance delivery company couldn’t! They were great!! Thanks Dillon and Tony!
Leaking copper water lines located behind water heater. The leaking sections were replaced with new copper piping. The plumbers performing this job were Nathaniel and Gabe. Nice guys. The quality of their work was outstanding. As a side note. I called Atherton initially and talked to Becky and described the problem with my plumbing. She was also nice and good at her job. She said the plumbers would be at my house that afternoon. The plumbers arrived at my house about 15 minutes after that call. The job was complete 3 hrs. later.
Lucas went above and beyond, from the initial assessment to the completion of work. Out of the three service calls I scheduled to quote a water heater replacement, he was the only one to notify me that the main shut off valve would also need replacing (could not be turned by hand). As a new homeowner, his attention to detail has given me substantial peace of mind.
Saturday late afternoon my tub and toilets were backing up. I had no choice to call a plumber after hours. I always use Atherton plumbing in the past. I always recommend Atherton to my friends. They are honest and up front about everything. My Technician Dillion worked about 3 hours to try to open the space. He was able to reach about 35 feet. He was honest and told me on Monday they will be out to do hydrojet. It was costly , but it did the work. I was very pleased with Dillion. He was a very hard worker. Please with Atherton.

I had a very positive experience today! I called to have them check work they have done as I had some back up happening in the same spot the previous work was done, they got everything cleared out and working again quickly! Thank you to Dillon and Tony for being awesome!
Arrived on time. Was very polite and even listened to my stories while completing the service. I was 100% satisfied with the services completed.
My repairman, Ryan Maxwell, showed up on time, was friendly, efficient, and did a great job on a leaking toilet. The price turned out to be very reasonable because the fix was simple for him (not for me) and I had a coupon. I have been using Atherton Plumbing since 1971 when it was local and family run. It is now part of a larger company but the same quality, timely, work. I will call them again but I sincerely hope I won't need to.
Todd was personnel and knowledgeable. He was quick at his work. He also answered all my questions. I would recommend him and the company he works for. Nice guy!
The technician was very friendly and competent. Fixed my issue nicely. My only concern is that I felt the price for the service was too high.

Been using Atherton for 15+ years & 2 different houses. They never fail to deliver great results and always finish within the estimate they give. They even try to find a way to save their customer money & time. Dillon, Casey & Gabe were great. All the guys that have ever helped us have been great. They are all experienced plumbers with integrity.
I needed emergency repair when my sump pump stopped working in the middle of heavy rains and my basement flooded. The positive was that they came within a few hours of my call. The negative was the excessive cost to do a very simple job. Including the $250 emergency fee, the cost was $1900. He did give me a discount after I expressed how ridiculous that fee was. The sump pump is about $300 retail, so the fact that 20 minutes of work was worth over $1400 is insane. I felt extremely taken advantage of. I will take every measure I can to make sure I'm never in an emergency situation with a sump pump again. The 3 stars are because they came relatively quickly and fixed the problem. If this rating was based on price alone it would have been 1 star.
I received early notification that my service technician was on his way as well as his name and experience details. Ryan was friendly, respectful and kept us notified of his progress. Upon completion, he gave us tips on our toilet model. I asked for recommendations on a future project in our large bathroom. Ryan was very helpful and knowledgeable in his recommendation. My wife entered the bathroom where he had replaced our wax ring and she was very pleased on how much he had cleaned up the area. We are well pleased and will recommend Atherton plumbing.
Andrew was a great plumber today! He came and fixed our toilet and did a free home safety inspection and water test and gave me great tips for our home! He is friendly and very knowledgeable.
I will never use them again, tech bends over and you can see his entire crack and belly. Very unprofessional

Had rising water in my basement. Called at 1:00 am and they had a plumber there by 3. Sump pump had burned up. Lucas French was the technician and he assessed and explained situation. He then replaced sump. He was very professional and I’m sure overworked last night due to the flooding rainwaters. Would absolutely recommend Atherton Plumbing.

Needed service ASAP and they came out within the hour and fixed our leak. I was expecting an expensive bill but they were very reasonable. I would and will refer them to anyone.
The service from Atherton is awesome! They get there same day and do the job quickly! But I'm not sure why getting the drain unclogged in a toilet drain and resetting the toilet(the toilet was already off) costs almost $600. I did agree to the almost $340 for the drain... As this is a rental and I wanted my tenant to be back in service. Next time I just won't panic and shop around. I've used them before and they do have good service. Not saying they don't. But this money amount which took them less than an hour is too much.
Our kitchen faucet suddenly started spraying water from the side every time we turned it on. I expected a quick temporary fix, but the plumber actually took the faucet apart, showed me the damaged piece, and replaced it properly. He worked carefully around the countertops and wiped everything down before leaving.
