Very quick response. Even worked late to get my floor drain clear. Knew exactly what to do the second he saw the floor drain. These folks are pros. If you’re a landlord and need a responsive team that’s fairly priced- these are your guys.
We had a clogged sewer drain, I called Atherton and they were at our property within 2 hours and took care of the issue quickly.
Jason Maxwell came out to check my water heater. He was able to come out the same day that I called. He inspected my corroded water heater and told me it needed to be replaced, before it made a bigger mess than it had made already. The whole tank was really rusty and corroded and water was in the tray. He checked on the price and said he had good news and bad news. The good news was the tank was under warranty and the bad news was installation was $1400. Well...I don't have the skills to install a water heater and told Jason to go ahead. He had to go pickup a water heater, but was only gone about 30 to 40 minutes. He had the water draining out of the old water heater while he went to get the new one. He took the old water heater out and installed the new one and cleaned up the little bit of water that dripped on the floor. Ran water to get the air out of the lines. I asked Jason if he could show me how to change the filter in my Nuvo water softener. He said, "sure". This system was really different from our old one and I bought the wrong filter, so I'm Really glad he helped me out. It only to Jason about 3 hours total, including having to go pickup the new water heater. I asked him some questions about tankless system, because I was curious. He was very knowledgeable and didn't mind answering my questions. We've had good luck with Atherton Plumbing and have used them several times. We've been pleased with all the plumbers.

My shower cartridge was worn out and the shower wouldn't shut off so I had to shut the water off to the house. They sent Macen to take care of it and he was excellent, thus the 5 star rating. He was very respectful of our home and knew exactly what to do and had the new parts on his truck. Done in an hour.....
I had detected a problem with my water pressure for 4 months or so and called Atherton and their Lead Technician Jerry Stover came to my home and my water heater was completely clogged from the water softener residue. Water Softener had sent all it's material to the Hot Water heater and now I had no running water and tank wouldn't drain....Jerry knew exactly what to do and made sure EVERY toilet, sink, bathtub, washer, Everything that receives water in the 3 story home was working and stayed after hours to make sure.....water softener was getting some age and I should have called sooner...As far as Atherton and Jerry Stover...If there was something beyond 5 stars I would leave it. Now I know what to do in the future, everything was explained

My experience was SO good ! I called because of a drain clogged in our basement that created water in the basement and within the hour they had someone out ! Our technician Jason Maxwell was AMAZING ! He explained everything thoroughly and did everything he could to help us ! He was a great guy and made our first experience needing plumbing help a good one. Will use this company again and will request Jason everytime !

We called atherton to help us with our drain clog, Jason came out and got us all fixed up. Very professional and was great to work with!
Had to have a toilet replaced. Excellent and quick service- they were at my house in a few hours to provide a detailed estimate, and the next day to install. Did not try to push me into a getting a new toilet. Instead, they walked me through and provided a bid for my 3 options so I could make an informed decision. High quality materials (I did a comparison of product at big box stores) were used. Would definitely recommend to friends and neighbors. Macen and Dillion were great!
We had a great experience with Jerry. He showed us the problem and got water back. The check valve was plugged and we will get a replacement and get it fixed. Will definitely recommend Atherton because of this experience.

Plumbing techs were very responsive and took the time to explain the problem after our home partially flooded from pipe that burst. They identified the problem and took care of it. What has been an overwhelming experience was made a bit easier by Atherton Plumbing.
Thoroughly impressed, I was able to have a plumber come out within an hour to fix a frozen pipe. Quick, easy fix. He also suggested actions I can take to prevent it from happening again. Service was a bit on the expensive side, but I'm glad to have it done.
Macen did a great job replacing a dirty, frozen trap that was causing back up. And suggested some next steps.

Great job replacing our water heater and tackling some pipe replacement.
Arrived on time. All drain problems fixed and Disposal installed. The installer was friendly and we had a great conversation.
Response time was impressive but the price was not. I was charged almost $1400 for a 2 hour job to disassemble iron piping and cap it.
Came out right away. Fixed everything great. Professional. Very courteous. Went out of their way to find somebody to come out. I'm very grateful. Thank you so much.
We had a stopped kitchen drain that came on suddenly as family dinner was being prepared. I tried plunging the blockage, but got nowhere. Using Atherton's convenient online service request form to schedule an appointment, and had a plumber here at 8 AM the next morning! Ryan was efficient, pleasant, and informative as he got to work. He was able to feed a snake through the sink drain and clear the clog, which was found about 10 feet down the pipe. He cleared the line for about 40 ft to make sure the clog was gone. He cleaned up the sink area and was gone in about 45 minutes start to finish. And the work is warranted for 90 days. We're VERY happy with the work from Atherton Plumbing.
Ryan did a great job opening our drain today. He was incredibly patient and had a fantastic attitude. He is also very knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. Highly recommend! Updated 3/2025 Jason was exceptional today! We had a hot water pipe leak under our foundation and Jason explained all of the scenarios to us very clearly to let us know how our repair would proceed since it was a bit tricky. We called Atherton Plumbing this morning and they had a technician out to our house within 45 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and worked with us to find the best solution to our current problem, as well as provide estimates for work we are considering for the future.
