I use Atherton for all of my plumbing needs and they always are very nice and honest. I appreciate all the care they put into fixing the multitude of issues I have had in my home from the usual plumbing issue to sump pump issues and install, to major leaks and beyond! They are always very responsive and when they can’t show as planned due to issues taking longer at a previous appt they always call and keep me informed. A+ for Atherton.

Placed the service call to have my pedestal sink leak resolved. While Luke was here, I had him hook up the Omigo seat and replace the strainers in my sink with ones that fit properly. I spent more than I had anticipated but I'm super happy to have these issues resolved. BTW Luke was clear about the pricing so there were no suprises. Been a long time happy and loyal Atherton customer as they redid most of the plumbing in 2022.

Had to have a toilet replaced. Excellent and quick service- they were at my house in a few hours to provide a detailed estimate, and the next day to install. Did not try to push me into a getting a new toilet. Instead, they walked me through and provided a bid for my 3 options so I could make an informed decision. High quality materials (I did a comparison of product at big box stores) were used. Would definitely recommend to friends and neighbors. Macen and Dillion were great! EDIT- needed a kitchen drain unclogged and called Atherton again. Ryan showed up and took care of it. He did not try to oversell me on something he assessed that I probably didn’t need given my issue, which is key for me. He explained what he would be doing and also took the time to explain that it is usually dish soap that causes sludge build up over time and to use a vinegar water solution every so often to break down the soap residue. 90 day guarantee- so if the drain clog comes back within that time, it will be taken care of. Will continue to use Atherton again for any future needs.
Had a new garbage disposal installed today. Macen explained our options and pricing up front. He did a fantastic job with the install, and cleaned everything up before he left. I have always used Atherton for my plumbing needs- they always exceed my expectations. Today was no different.
Had a great experience. Were we given a time of 12:00pm-3:00pm. A little after 11:00am Jason called asking if I would like him to arrive earlier as he was available or at the 12:00 window given. I happily took the earlier time. Jason even gave me an estimate time of his new arrival. With the inspection, cost estimate was given with clear explanation of what was needed and the options. Jason quickly fixed the issue and ensured all work fixed the issue we were having. Understanding of my still working from home, he was quite yet efficient. Thank you for being so great Jason!
I had them come over and cut out 2 abandoned gas pipes from my home. Tech was good, job done quickly. Im not any type of plumber, so I can't comment too much on pricing, but I was expecting to pay closer to $500 to cut 2 pipes and cap them, but it was $900. It was good work, I was just surprised it cost so much.

Nathan replaced corroded copper pipe in our kitchen ceiling that was leaking and likely to leak more. He was prompt, friendly, and efficient. Before I knew it, he was done! Billing was simple, straightforward, and transparent.

I have used Atherton Plumbing in the past. When our sink drain was clogged I called at 12:30pm - by 2:30pm is was cleared! Jason did a great job fighting the snake to get the drain unclogged. WOULD recommend!
The gentleman that came out was great , he replaced the toilet and made repairs on out sink , I would request this serviceman and company again in a heartbeat , thanks.

Water heater pilot went out after my basement flooded. Tried lighting it multiple times with no effect. Went a couple of weeks without hot water. Tech came out turned the gas on and it lit after a few attempts. Gave it 30 minutes and checked my water pressure and quality in the interim. High pressure and hard water, gave me some suggestions and a quote but didn't press.
We needed the main stack of our over 60 year old system replaced as well as a leaking copper drain line. Atherton sent a technician out promptly and the work was done in a timely manner by Nathan. The system was tested after installation and Nathan explained the work that was done and showed us what had been replaced. Nathan answered my questions to my satisfaction.
We had service on 5/28/26. Luke installed a shutoff valve on the water line to the fridge. This was done in preparation of receiving a new fridge the following week. Luke did a great job, re-working the line and attaching the valve to the wall, and fastening it for easy install of new line from the new fridge. Thanks for your ingenuity and explaination of the process.

I panicked and my first thought was of Jason who had come out on another emergency about four years ago.. He worked diligently until he solved the problem. I am so grateful that he was available when I called . He came the same day, assessed the situation, gave me a quote, helped with paperwork and proceeded to get the job done within three hours of his arrival. Jason is the ultimate professional, Very detailed, courteous,arrived on time, removed the old water heater, installed the new one, placed everything back as it was.. We contracted with Atherton for installation of a Kraus double kitchen sink, Moen faucet, and Insinkerator disposal. George Strietz was the technician who performed the installation. He is a very experienced, highly skilled plumber who did an amazing job! He removed the old units, installed new drain traps, replaced old chrome/galvanized fittings with PVC, and installed the new units. Everything was done meticulously! When he was finished he cleaned everything up and took away the old units and boxes. We are so pleased with the entire process. His estimate was timely, price was reasonable, scheduling was perfect. We highly recommend Atherton and will certainly call them for any future plumbing issues.

Had service professional Jason Maxwell diagnosing and fixing a well pump pressure switch that had corroded due to the excessive 7+ inches of rainfall that occurred in our area. Jason also attended to some additional ancillary work while he was here. Jason is an outstanding and highly skilled technician. He explained the cause of what work was required, has a welcoming personality, and was very knowledgeable. He is a competent and professional individual providing service excellent service to me, once again.
